Posted December 14, 201311 yr I've got a Forge 1.6.4 Server running on a Mac. I've got a couple of worlds my son and his buds use. We change from one to the other by changing the level name in the server properties file. Is there any way to allow them to choose from a list of available worlds when the connect to the server? Is there a mod that would allow them to teleport to the different worlds that are created and stored in the mine craft folder? Thanks in advance, g
December 14, 201311 yr Your best bet is to use MystCraft It does not look for worlds outside the main world folder because that would be a huge security risk, but you should be able to move all of your existing worlds into one structure/multiple dimensions. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
December 15, 201311 yr Otherwise you could get mcpc+ and use a bukkit multiworld plugin. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
December 15, 201311 yr I highly recommend Mystcraft. It adds some truly awesome features and if you need help merging your overworlds into Mystcraft ages, several people on the official forums can help out. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
