I'm having trouble with a "simple" forge install.

Using Magic Launcher to "patch" jars, installing just modloader and forge, I get this:

Modloader-125.zip  ok

minecraft-forge-client-3.1.3.105.zip  2 errors

Log:

Missing class member: public (Lxd;IIIIFI)V a, class: jx, mod: minecraftforge-client-3.1.3.105.zip

Missing class member: public (Lxd;IIIIFI)V a, class: rr, mod: minecraftforge-client-3.1.3.105.zip

This is before adding any actual mods to use forge; my goal is Mystcraft, mystcraft forge patches, and optifine.

So as someone that has failed the first step: What am I doing wrong?

No. I see errors and missing class members, so I figure that's serious enough to cause a problem at run-time.

The good news: It seems to be working?

The bad news: Server says I need to get 5 redpower mods, and 2 computer craft mods.

I've always seen the "missing class member" errors when using Magic Launcher, not sure why they occur and they don't seem to affect anything so I ignored them and didn't investigate further. I guess it's a bug with Magic Launcher, the errors do not occur with SK's Launcher.

The hell?

These 'errors' are caused by Magic Launcher not properly checking inheritance.

They are not real errors.

Forge changes those two classes and replaces those functions with forge's aware versions.

Perfectly legal java, so ignore them.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
