Posted November 9, 201212 yr Currently I am having a weird bug with the current release of forge (6.0.1_349) with 1.4.2. The problem I am having is that when I install it, with no extra mods or plugins, I can't get seeds from anything that is not fully grown. I have tried a brand new jar file (not modded) and made a map, I could break a ungrown piece of wheat and get the seed back (of course). I then took the same jar file, deleted the meta-inf file and added Forge (didn't delete forge's meta-inf) and started the same game again, no mods or plug ins and the bug is reproduced. I have no idea what might be causing it, I didn't see anything about it through a search or possible fixes for it. Thanks again in advance, I might just not be installing it correctly for all I know.
November 9, 201212 yr Did you try to use 6.0.1.355? Don't ask for support per PM! They'll get ignored! | If a post helped you, click the "Thank You" button at the top right corner of said post! | mah twitter This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.
November 9, 201212 yr Author I didn't see anything past 349 in the 1.4.2, must be a development build? Let me find it and try it out.
November 10, 201212 yr Not sure exactly how nobody noticed this before, but its fixed for 1.4.4. https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/commit/770585e73135b111f6786bd376270c8843fa180e I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. November 10, 201212 yr Author That's nice and all for 1.4.4, but I'm using 1.4.2, and I wouldn't know how to fix it.
November 10, 201212 yr You're out of luck for 1.4.2 basically - Lex fixed it in the next version, which is a 1.4.4 version.
