[Bug] Mod List GUI

Forge version: 3.2.5.128-client

Mods installed: Optifine

 

Issues:

When I install Optifine HD MT AA A7 and I go to the "mods list" there are 3 entries: FML, Optifine, and mod_MinecraftForge.

I can select FML and Optifine just fine, and I can see the details, but if I select "mod_MinecraftForge" the client crashes.

java.lang.NullPointerException
at cpw.mods.fml.client.GuiModList.a(GuiModList.java:124)
at lr.b(EntityRenderer.java:1103)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.x(Minecraft.java:873)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:750)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Extra info: I used 7-zip to add mods to the minecraft .jar, happens with other launchers like Magic launcher.

Use OptiFine C-series. A is incompatible with FML.

-OptiFine_1.2.5_HD_MT_C2.zip

-Daxnitro's Shader Core M [1.2.5].zip

-Sonic Ether's Shader [ultra DOF] [1.2.5].zip

-Sonic Ether's Shader [No Waving Objects] [1.2.5].zip

-myzomepack.zip (Zombe's Modpack; including only the class files for fly and info)

-MC 1.2.5 - Player API client 1.3.zip

-Smart Moving Client for Modloader.zip

 

all this happens when i click onto the Minecraft Forge-entry in the mod-list-gui, so i post it here.

Sorry for my bad English, I'm German.

Interesting it says it can find the metadata but that error says it can't

Try installing Forge normally and see if it works.

Maybe MagicLauncher is being stupid and not adding things to the class path correctly.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

well, i deactivated the 3 shader mods because they caused crashed ingame, too. it works fine now.

 

--> mc forge is incompatible with sonic ethers unbelieveable shaders (magic launcher edition)

Thats because it uses bytecode patching, we don't support bytecode patchers, else they need to make themselves compatible with US.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
