Posted December 9, 201212 yr I didn't have an opportunity to use the Guava library and generally I'm a Java newbie, but i've seen that there's a new version (13) and Forge still uses version 12.
December 9, 201212 yr Nah, why should we? Bukkit uses guava 10 for example, updating may break any mods using it. Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.

December 10, 201212 yr It will break tons of mods. MINOR updates are generally for bug fixes, MAJOR updates == major breakage. Especially for forge and FML. Protip: try and find answers yourself before asking on the forum. It's pretty likely that there is an answer. Was I helpful? Give me a thank you! http://bit.ly/HZ03zy[/img] Tired of waiting for mods to port to bukkit? use BukkitForge! (now with a working version of WorldEdit!)
December 14, 201212 yr Not really. Bukkit is stuck on 10 because they used deprecated api ... 13 will be part of 1.5 update..
