Posted August 5, 20169 yr I'm not sure what would be the correct way to do this. Let's say I want to make things happen in game, after a player did something. For example, placing a block or destroying one or any other trigger, and once that happens, I want to have control of a timeline to for example, place more blocks or destroy others in a "timelapse" and not all at once. What would be the better way to do that, I'm really not sure where to start...
August 5, 20169 yr I would suggest Adding capabilities to the player to save your data, using a player tick event to do things after a certain amount of time, and using events to set a boolean that is saved to the players capabilites. VANILLA MINECRAFT CLASSES ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WHEN MODDING I will be posting 1.15.2 modding tutorials on this channel. If you want to be notified of it do the normal YouTube stuff like subscribing, ect. Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.
