It runs a server now and I can connect and use my item. Now I just to figure out the ITextComponent crap.

Yeah I've realized a lot of people on modding forums are Egotistical douche bags. Also not everyone interprets everything the same. When you're new to modding it doesn't help when everyone's an ass.

I might be brusk, frank, and blunt, I may not help people who don't help themselves, but I'm not a douche.  This forum is not java school, it says so in the forum description, and as such I'm not going to teach you what an interface is or how to use it.  I will only tell you that you need an instance of ITextComponent and that you can use your IDE to find them.  If you don't want to use your IDE to find them, that's your own god damn fault.

Listen guys I'm sorry, I woke up with a headache and was super tired from staying up late. I apologize from my anger/annoyingness. I'll go over what you said and look into it. Coding and Learning in the morning is not my strong suit.

I can't find anything on this and don't feel like asking for help on something that I should be able to understand but fail to. I'ma close this post or delete it or whatever.

I know you're probably gonna be mad at me, but I did that like 100 times I just didn't copy it right or missed some little detail. I got to it by holding CTRL and clicking the TextComponentString. I'm sorry for making you bash your face into your desk
