In forge 11, registerModEntity required a first parameter as a resource location for a class? What class, i dont understand.

...You pass in the entity's class?

You make a new instance of ResourceLocation, what's so hard about that?

The ResourceLocation constructor you should use takes 2 arguments which are the domain and the path. These can roughly relate to modid and identifier. You have to create one specific for each of your mod's entities.

Sorry guys there is no tutorials and even the forge documentation api does not discuss this parameter, along with me now knowing java(i am coder just never touched java)

new ResourceLocation(modid, identifier/className/entityName);

You can get the modid from your @Mod class, the next parameter can be whatever you want, but it must be specific to the entity.

I got this

	public static void createEntity(Class entityClass, String entityName, int solidColor, int spotColor)
	{

		EntityRegistry.registerModEntity(ResourceLocation(ClowcadiaMod.MODID,entityName),entityClass, entityName, 0,ClowcadiaMod.modInstance, 64, 1, true, 0x42f462, 0x298e3b);
	}

	private static ResourceLocation ResourceLocation(String modid, String entityName) {
		// TODO Auto-generated method stub
		return null;
	}

fixed that here

I see, what does it say when you hover over it?

You can basically ignore that it is saying that the class might not extend Entity.

Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.

Or you can fix your method declaration:

public static void createEntity(Class<? Extends Entity> entityClass, String entityName, int solidColor, int spotColor)

Also your resource location is null:

	private static ResourceLocation ResourceLocation(String modid, String entityName) {
		// TODO Auto-generated method stub
		return null; // <-- THIS HERE
	}

You might want to fix that.
