Posted February 17, 20178 yr I've seen this a lot on these forums lately, I know. But for some reason I can't get the texture to appear for my item, and the explanations that worked for others haven't worked for me. the code is at: https://github.com/geekman9097/Logisticraft/tree/master/src/main and I'm using CJMinecraft's 1.10 tutorial, although that version number may have something to do with it as well. json: { "parent": "item/generated", "textures": { "layer0": "logisticraft:items/pitch_glob" } } Edited February 17, 20178 yr by geekman9097 fixing misphrasing
February 17, 20178 yr In your Init class, you have your type set to be an Item, when your class is an ItemPitch that is extending Item, is that perhaps the source of the issue?

That is not relevant. ======================= On this line: https://github.com/geekman9097/Logisticraft/blob/master/src/main/java/geekman9097/logisticraft/init/ModItems.java#L42 Don't reconstruct the model resource location like that. ModelResourceLocation res = new ModelResourceLocation(item.getRegistryName(), variant); is more than sufficient. Perhaps using a 1.10 tutorial in 1.11 was double-plus unsmart. Edited February 17, 20178 yr by geekman9097
February 17, 20178 yr Using an old 1.10 tutorial. The code I gave you works in 1.10.2 just fine.
