I seem to be having this issue and can't seem to find it on this forum. It might be an issue with forge but I'm still not certain, on what could be causing it. I've tried previous versions of forge and I have Java 8 for 64bit and 32bit. If this is already on this forum please let me know. Thank you

which one? you can't have both. Can you please post your entire debug log? I can't see the cause of the error from that snippet

This usually means a corrupted (or missing) vanilla Jar, the vanilla server has log4j fat-jarred in.

Mojang Launcher: When using the Mojang launcher debug.log is found in .minecraft\logs.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

Yes you can, you just can't launch an application with both.

How would I go about showing you the entire log? I can't find the full thing. When I got to just plain logs it shows me something different. I have the vanilla server.jar and it seems to be running just fine. It's just forge that doesn't seem to want to open or even start

I renamed it to just minecraft_server.jar that shouldn't be an issue right?

You should not rename it from what the Forge installer names it.

Huh. Well i guess that was the problem then cause it works fine now with it's full name. Thanks for the help guys. Guess it was a dumb on me to think that renaming it wouldn't matter.

  Cant help you but i have exactly that error rn. I tried to make a forge server for 1.21.1 and in the run.bat i get that error. Edit: Actually I CAN help you because i just found the solution myself. Here just install a newer version of java: https://www.oracle.com/de/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk24-windows No need to uninstall anything. I just took the #64 Installer and run it, it installed and now i have no problems anymore. I hope it works for u too man.

Press any key to continue . . . " Any help?

  when i use the newest versions (1.20.1-6.0.0 - 1-20.1-6.0.4) it crashes, it only works when i use lower versions link of the log: https://mclo.gs/aQV9NX0
