The game crashes as soon as I enter the nether dimension. This crash(or at least similar) has been happening at random times in the overworld on forge verison 2835 and after updating to the 2836 I had no issues in the overworld and the game crashes when I enter the nether.

Attaching the log file. Say if you need more information or testing.

The game crashes at “updateTimeLightAndEntities”, it’s likely a coremod causing issues

Do you have any ideas on what coremod this particular this might be related to? Is it one of the graphics mods(optifine, phosphor etc) or are those entities mobsters added by a mod?

A coremod that messes with time, light or entities probably. Serene seasons would be my prime suspect

That's a broad array of suspects... Is light in this context a graphics related or just entity that emits light? I guess there aren't that many coremods in my install, I'll try to disable them one by one and launch the game a dozen times. I've done worse, I had to do this more than 90 times when I was troubleshooting the bug in patchouli mod. But I'll probably get my hands on it not sooner than on the weekend/

I would assume anything to do with light (and updating it) at all

You've only installed 12 core mods, which takes at most 4 game launches to figure out the culprit of the crash (unless the crash is caused by cross-mod integration). 4 game launches is not that broad.

I know crash may happen hours into the game, so this needs more testing.

Further crashes is not necessarily caused by the same reason as your current crash.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
