Posted September 19, 20205 yr I have a transparent block but for some reason, any block it touches is turned invisible. What is the problem and how do I fix it?
September 19, 20205 yr public boolean isFullCube() { return false; } /** * Used to determine ambient occlusion and culling when rebuilding chunks for render */ public boolean isOpaqueCube() { return false; } Use that on your Block class this is necessary when the block arent a full block, because, the chunk renderer is programmed to cull faces than are faced to inside of chunk (detail, chunk is a model) instead of a full cube for all blocks, that explain why blocks than it touch just are culled, because it cull neighbor faces, so you need to tell to the renderer do not do that for ur block Edited September 19, 20205 yr by Tibzel___

September 19, 20205 yr Beethoven92 is correct here. And you'd know that if you put @Override on your methods. Your IDE would then warn you, "this isn't overriding anything" and you would then know you'd have to find out what changed so you can fix it to have the desired behavior. As those methods no longer exist... Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
September 20, 20205 yr Author Lol I fixed it myself like immediately after I posted this topic. Sorry if that caused any problems but thanks anyways.
