This is possible but requires the usage of the "workDir" command line argument every time you run the Minecraft Launcher in order to be effective. More Info: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Minecraft_Launcher#Command_line_usage

Try removing Optifine

Curse doesn't generate debug.log by default... much to the annoyance of EVERYONE ELSE. You need to enable it in the Minecraft Section of Curse App's settings

We do not provide support when Optifine and Vivecraft are involved as they are horrendously invasive and known to cause issues with some mods
