Is there a specific reason for you to run Minecraft in a VM?

I'm afraid I can't do much more without troubleshooting the server myself.
Java is being allowed through your firewall, right? Again, this poses a big risk.
-
Can this tool detect your server? https://dinnerbone.com/minecraft/tools/status/

How are you getting your public IP?
-
To connect to it yourself on the same machine use "localhost" as the IP.
Have you restarted your router since port-forwarding it?
Please note this is not without risk.

You are making a quit button? Why?
Forcing a program to quit from a script is about the dirtiest way to close the program, and in this case it is likely to corrupt worlds.

You have not answered my question.

Why do you need to kill a program like this?

Is there a specific reason for you to run Minecraft in a VM?
I would recommend deleting that file.

It's saying you need to run the vanilla launcher at least once first.

If you are using Google Chrome I hear this option was moved to the Downloads page. (Accessible from the 3 dots -> Downloads, typing "chrome://downloads" into your address bar, or pressing Ctrl+J).
-
It means you need to download the listed file yourself and put it in the directory you are installing the server to, without renaming the file.

Coremods threaten compatibility between mods because they change Minecraft's code directly, making changes to an environment that mods expect to be set up a certain way.
If you are coremodding for the sake of coremodding, STOP.
What do you need to coremod for, usually Forge already has a helper for it.

We can't really help you without something to go on.
Is this an error being printed to the console or does a block not look correct?
If it's in the console please read the logs section of my signature, if it is a block then post a screenshot and give what information you can about the block.

Have you tried it outside the IDE?

I would not recommend NotEnoughIDs if you can avoid using it, it is known to cause issues with some setups.

What is your processor?
