Mods don't work across Minecraft versions, they aren't universal. There isn't a version of TooManyItems for any modern version, you should be using JustEnoughItems We only provide support for 1.15 and 1.16 at this time -
All non recommended forge versions do not load the game

I'm afraid there's not much info here other than something taking too long to save -
I've recently learned that this was broken some time ago and I apparently just never noticed because intellij has its own decompiler to cover missing classes
