What launcher are you using? Please provide a screenshot.

You're using a 1.16.1 mod on 1.16.2, this isn't going to work

Ok I see how this could be achieved. You need to use 2 handlers though, what you suggested in the first post just would not work.

If you're trying to set the FOV why are you listening for the event that fires when it's changed?
