  1. There is always a better way to do it.Just keep this mantra in mind. FORGE itself doesn't edit the jar file, So why would something a hell of a lot less complex need to?
  2. 2013-07-16 20:20:16 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class net.minecraft.client.settings.GameSettings (aui) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is 2348810, in patch 316717c8. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file? Something edited your jar, get rid of it.
  3. The fact that that file exists means theres something somewhere. Run the launcher and get the console log then.
  4. Your internet is slow. And they are large files. Of corse it wont show the gui until the libraries are finished downloading as the libraries need to download first -.- There is nothing wrong here.
  5. We've looked into it, and this seems the best design, if you don't wanna use the global setup, support a profile specific gameDir. We don't make these decisions on whims -.-
  6. Invalid memory access... Go into your minecraft folder and get the client log file. This is typically either a derp install of java, or a derp driver install. Try updating/repairing the java install.
  7. The only issue im aware of is the issue that was fixed 2 weeks ago. So, if you've not updated there isn't anything I can do about that. We haven't changed anything to do with the network in several months so if there is a issue it's on BungeeCords side. Go speak with md-5 about it.
  8. at mekanism.client.ClientTickHandler.tickStart(ClientTickHandler.java:48) Not use, 'mekanism'
  9. Why are you editing base classes?
  10. Seems to me from that log that you screwed something up when editing your jar file that is causing the GuiDemoScreen not to be found. This has NOTHING to do with connecting to servers or anything like that. Try it with a standard Forge install without optifine.
  11. 1) --gameDir its a vanilla MC argument and already exists 2) http://files.minecraftforge.net/minecraftforge/json2 Already exists.
  12. There was a issue with the minecraft aluncher that caused maven central to disable those downloads. It should be fixed so try again. If not make sure you download and place those files manually into your libraries folder.
  13. There is always SOMETHING.
  14. Just tested myself, I was able to connect to many vanilla servers just fine. I need full logs of both the client and the server.
  15. If you do not provide a username, a random Player(0-1000) is picked. A lot of these have skins. This is nothing related to Forge.
  16. You already CAN add potions. No hooks needed. Also for anyone who make any 'hook' suggestions. It's not a magical one line: hook_that_makes_everything_function_awesome(); So saying 'add a hook' is'nt really useful. At least propose the point at which to hook and what information you would need.
  17. 792 derped server stuff, 793 fixes them.
  18. Use the recommended build, cpw broke something -.-
  19. 1) Hell no we dont support 1.4.6 we're on 1.6.2... 2) Seems like a issue with the coremods or something. Either way no.
  20. [lmgtfy]how to run a jar file[/lmgtfy]
  21. Put shit in /fml/mcp_data It'll be copied into the mcp folder when it is setup. Or hell. Just dont delete the MCP folder and re-run install.
  22. No, you don't. You have a shortcut in that folder -.- 2013-07-14 12:02:00 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] Ignoring unknown file WeaponMod.zip.lnk in mods directory
  23. No, Reflection is easy enough for this.
