I've been playign in a modded server with some friends since last week, but now, i've had an error with it and everyone got kicked (idk why) and when I started it again after closing it with "stop" it says this:

E:\Users\gaming\Particular\Veran0>java @user_jvm_args.txt @libraries/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.18.2-40.1.68/win_args.txt
Error occurred during initialization of boot layer
java.lang.module.FindException: Module org.objectweb.asm not found, required by cpw.mods.securejarhandler

I don't know if it's an error with the java version or something, I can post the ones I have installed rn but they are 8, 17 and 18.

Thanks for your help.

Ok don't worry, I've resetted the pc after installing java again and it seems to function correctly thanks for ur help ;D.

You an use the full path of the java 17 executable (java.exe) to make sure you use the correct version of java.

Note you need to put the path into quotes

Edit: to fast😅

XDD Sorry for not checking first if today it functioned but thank you for the help, and also, how do u use the path to start the server? I mean in the launcher I know how but here I don't :<

The client use automatically the required java version.

Please post debug.log from the logs folder.

In the run.bat

Quote

E:\Users\gaming\Particular\Veran0>java @user_jvm_args.txt @libraries/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.18.2-40.1.68/win_args.txt

replace java with the full path to the java 17 java.exe (wrap it in quotes if it contains spaces).

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
