damonmensch Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Or perhaps, maybe using pastebin.... Did you perhaps use the proper installer file on the downloads page? Also they are going to want your FML Log-0. So unless you provide that expect this report to be ignored/locked/or yourself reprimanded for not reading the EAQ first. LexManos Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Your backpacks mod is not a 1.7.2 mod. Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
Death51 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 I've tried the updated aether mod, the more ore mod etc and it just kept crashing the game so I don't know what I should do at this point. any suggestions on mods I should try and see if they work? Quote
LexManos Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I HIGHLY doubt any of those mods are updated yet, make sure you are using mods for the correct version on minecraft you're trying to install. Death51 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 I probably sound like a idiot. Okay I have 2 last questions how do I know if its updated to its current version? And my second one is say if I did find some mods that were updated and I install them and I put them in the mods folder and startup minecraft and then I get to the main menu and they didn't load in, then I unzip them into the mods folder and they still don't load in what do I do? Draco18s Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I probably sound like a idiot. Okay I have 2 last questions how do I know if its updated to its current version? Generally speaking if the mod's thread says "1.7" in the title or if the mod zip/jar file has "1.7" in the file name. If it says "1.6.4" then it's not going to work. Easy as pie. If that isn't sufficient, then it's also probably not updated. Especially if you had the mod before 1.7 came out. NOTHING FROM 1.6 IS COMPATIBLE WITH 1.7 How hard is that?
