I am trying to install forge and have spent a lot of time trying to find out what the problem is but I have no idea. Can someone please help me? It keeps saying download error occurred but I don't know what the error is. I am using 7-zip I don't if that's the problem? Someone please help.

You appear not to be able to connect to the internet to download the required FML libraries.

 

get them here: files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/fml_libs.zip, and extract to the "libs" directory...

Copy ALL the files from minecraftforge.zip, not just .class files! If that doesn't work, redownload & reinstall forge.

Protip: try and find answers yourself before asking on the forum.

It's pretty likely that there is an answer.

I just updated to v.1.5 and lost all my older mods... after the shock i tryed to download Forge for 1.5 and get the Fatal error message... HELP!!! Does this help in any way?
