September 29, 201411 yr Run jarfix, linked in the EAQ Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
September 29, 201411 yr Author Nope It says that it has been fixed but nope... Still nothing Same error...
September 30, 201411 yr I'm definitely getting a SIMILAR error, it says it's a SocketTimedOutException in the console. There are also FileNotFoundExceptions, and attempting to direct download the library with: http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/e/akka/akka-actor_2.11/2.3.3/akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar (The link to the library according to the installer log) gets me a 404. I don't suppose anyone could give me a link to a working library? Or is that against the rules, I don't remember seeing anything about file redistribution in the terms of use for the forums. The error from the installer itself: These libraries failed to download. Try again. com.typesafe.akka:akka-actor_2.11:2.3.3 Pastebin of log: http://pastebin.com/Rkh0UPYq I'm sorry for the log being part cut off, blame Windows command prompt u.u. Maximum expansion only covers half of the screen. As for Jarfix, I don't think that would do anything as this is due to the file apparently not existing. Furthermore, the site linked in the EAQ is so clustered with fake download ads it's hard to find the actual download link.
September 30, 201411 yr Author 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. This is what I get when I do :
