Dignatio Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Hey, everybody! I seem to be having a little problem here...most of my mods don't work with Forge D: Like everyone else, pretty much Anyway, here's the order I put in all of my mods (all of them are up-to-date with MC 1.3.2) minecraftforge-universal-4.0.0.200 Spawner GUI Recipe Book ElementalCreepers_v2.4_client_sp_MC.1.3.2 Slenderman1.3.2 TF2_Teleporter_1.3.2b SpecialArmor_1.3.2 [1.3.2]ReiMinimap_v3.2_05 DrZharks MoCreatures Mod v3.7.1 The log is the attachment. I did a lot of research, which is why I didn't include Audiomod and made sure not to even think about putting in Modloader. I really just want to play my game. So, if you could help me out as quick as possible, I'd greatly appreciate it Thanks! Quote
LexManos Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 1) Dont use colors and shit like that its really annoying 2) Why the hell are you using a version of forge that is 100 builds out of date? 3) ModLoader mods work just fine with Forge 4) Straight forward issue, you have issues in the elemental creepers mod which I know works with forge just fine. Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
rivvest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Not enough research... Elemental Creepers goes in the mods directory, not the jar.. Mo' Creatures isn't updated to 1.3.2. Quote I'm fixing the stupid villagers. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1588460-
Dignatio Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 I apologize. I didn't mean to annoy anybody with colors. But I felt like they emphasized a few points. As for the old version of forge, I did not know that it was out of date. From where I got it, it sais that it was the 1.3.2 version. If you would kindly explain how I fix this said "straight forward issue", I will be out of your hair. Thank you, kind sirs. Quote
rivvest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 minecraftdl and minecraftmine are liars and thieves, never trust those sites. Fix: Update Forge. Confirm your mods are really for 1.3.2 (check minecraftforums, minecraftplanet). Follow instructions for mod (is it a jar mod or does it go in the mods folder). Enjoy Quote I'm fixing the stupid villagers. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1588460-
Dignatio Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Oh no....*sigh*....I have another problem....and hopefully someone can make it go away by simply explaining to me how to install these mods? [1.3.2]ReiMinimap_v3.2_05 Biosphere ElementalCreepers_v2.5_forge_MC1.3.2 minecraftforge-universal-4.2.5.303 (I got the right forge ) Recipe Book Slenderman1.3.2 SpecialArmor_1.3.2 TF2_Teleporter_1.3.2b Weaponmod I apologize again. I'm completely new to modding and used to just toss all the winrar files into the jar. If you need the report Minecraft gave saying it crashed, I can provide it. Please & Thank you! >.< Quote
luacs1998 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Whatever goes into the mods folder goes into the mods folder. And don't use mcpatcher. Quote Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE! This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project. www.forgeessentials.com Don't PM me, I don't check this account unless I have to.
Dignatio Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 That's the problem. I don't know what goes into the mods folder, and the only one to clearly say "Goes in .minecraft mods" was the Slenderman1.3.2 mod. >.< So Confused >.< P.S. Haven't used mcpatcher. Don't even know what it is " Quote
rivvest Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 In general, if the zip file contains xxx.class, where xxx is 3 random-ish letters, they go in the jar. And they're bad. If they have nice clear .class names then they go in the mods folder. Quote I'm fixing the stupid villagers. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1588460-
Dignatio Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 I did what you said, and most of them worked. Basically, this is what happened. FML: FML v3.1.35.394 Minecraft Forge 4.2.5.303 7 mods loaded, 7 mods active FML [Forge Mod Loader] (coremods) Unloaded->Constructed Forge [Minecraft Forge] (coremods) Unloaded->Constructed mod_ReiMinimap [mod_ReiMinimap] (minecraft.jar) Unloaded->Constructed mod_RecipeBook [mod_RecipeBook] (minecraft.jar) Unloaded->Constructed mod_slenderman [mod_slenderman] (minecraft.jar) Unloaded->Constructed [glow=red,2,300]teeluk_SpecialArmor [specialArmor] (SpecialArmor) Unloaded->Errored pitman-87_TF2_Teleporter [TF2 Teleporter] (TF2) Unloaded->Errored[/glow] I don't know what went wrong. I put both the TF2 folder and the Specialarmor folder in the mods folder. Then I tried the jar and it didn't work. Do I need to unpack the TF2 and Specialarmor folders and put everything out in the open in the mods folder? SanAndreaP Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: TF2.Teleporter.common.TF2TeleporterMod You have to put the mod ARCHIVE into the mods folder, NOT the content of it! If you did this (and it still crashes with the same message), then redownload the mod package, delete the old one in your mods folder and put the new one into that folder. Quote Don't ask for support per PM! This is not how learning works.
