Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 Massive Memory Leak when stitching textures.

Hi everyone.

I'm experiencing a massive problem with minecraft forge affecting versions Forge-10.13.4.1472-1.7.10 and Up.

 

When Minecraft is started, it loads normally until initialization is complete, and when it starts stitching textures, it stays stuck on

"Texture Creation - Stitching Textures 1/3" and chews up nearly 15Gb of my RAM.

 

I'm not sure if it is a memory leak, but it looks like one to me. I opened task manager and watched my memory usage soar.

I have also run the latest build, and it too has the same issue.

Where do I find them?

Ever heard of sites like http://pastebin.com ? They are great for posting logs without messing up the thread.

 

Anyway, we need the fml-client-latest.log

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

Yes, I tried to paste that particular file into Pastebin, but it was too big.

I even tried to use Spoilers, but they don't work.

 

I don't know what happened, but I played a LAN with my brother, and messed around with my mods folder, and now the memory leak doesn't occur.

Strange, Very Strange.

 

I guess that minecraft was having a hissy fit that day, as it always does.

 

No errors to report, you may terminate this thread.

 

Also, are there tutorials or videos on how to format posts?

When I click one of the format buttons, like super/sub script or the spoiler button, it does nothing... Help?

If it doesnt fit on pastebin, then use a different site like gist, or make multiple pastebins. it's not hard...

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

      Do you have shaders enabled? There is an issue with the mod simpleclouds - remove this mod or disable shaders, if enabled

      Maybe you need to create file in assets/<modid>/items/<itemname>.json with content like this:   { "model": { "type": "minecraft:model", "model": "modname:item/itemname" } }
