FallingFist Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Yeah, Hi! My name's Jacob, but you can refer to me as Falling. I've been playing on this server of mine for a while, and I had not yet died until recently. Upon dying, I do what we always do, pressed the RESPAWN button. I then get kicked out from the server (this happens to all players who die) and leaves me with the following in the server console: 2012-12-09 01:03:28 [iNFO] [Minecraft] FallingFist99[/127.0.0.1:61611] logged in with entity id 51691 at (-37.90399917499585, 64.0, -1046.8795836879638) 2012-12-09 01:03:28 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] Loading Player: FallingFist99 2012-12-09 01:03:28 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] Sending serverside check to: FallingFist99 2012-12-09 01:05:12 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] A critical server error occured handling a packet, kicking 51691 java.lang.NullPointerException at qx.a(EntityPlayer.java:1544) at gm.a(ServerConfigurationManager.java:336) at iv.a(NetServerHandler.java:826) at cx.a(SourceFile:30) at cg.b(TcpConnection.java:451) at iv.d(NetServerHandler.java:82) at iw.b(NetworkListenThread.java:55) at ht.b(SourceFile:30) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.r(MinecraftServer.java:691) at ho.r(DedicatedServer.java:252) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.q(MinecraftServer.java:587) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:494) at fy.run(SourceFile:856) 2012-12-09 01:05:12 [WARNING] [Minecraft] Failed to handle packet for FallingFist99/127.0.0.1: java.lang.NullPointerException java.lang.NullPointerException at qx.a(EntityPlayer.java:1544) at gm.a(ServerConfigurationManager.java:336) at iv.a(NetServerHandler.java:826) at cx.a(SourceFile:30) at cg.b(TcpConnection.java:451) at iv.d(NetServerHandler.java:82) at iw.b(NetworkListenThread.java:55) at ht.b(SourceFile:30) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.r(MinecraftServer.java:691) at ho.r(DedicatedServer.java:252) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.q(MinecraftServer.java:587) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:494) at fy.run(SourceFile:856) If the spoiler doesn't work, here's a pastebin: http://pastebin.com/tqwwHSHk I'm using the MultiMC Launcher, it's been working fine until now, and I can't find anyone with the same problem. The only Jar mods I've got are (in this order) Forge --> GuiAPI --> OptiFine --> Eternal Frost In other notice, Lexmanos and the Forge team, Forge is by far, the best API there is! I'm open to all suggestions! Thank you for reading, happy for all replies. Yours truly - Falling Quote
HMPerson1 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Make sure your configs match. Quote There's an EAQ for a reason. Read it! "Note that failure to read this will make you look idiotic. You don't want that do you?" -- luacs1998 First rule of bug reports: More information is always better. Oh, and logs OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!
FallingFist Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 They do, but if you wish, I could control check. [[EDIT]] I found this within the console: [ForgeModLoader] The mod DivineRPG has attempted to register an entity ID 0 which is already reserved. This could cause severe problems Could that be the problem, and what do I do to solve it? [[EDIT 2]] Found a temporary fix for it, I edited my dat file to instead of heaving -3 health to having 7. This spawned me alive, but I still wish to solve this problem if possible. Quote
rivvest Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Which version of Forge are you using? Looks like it could be the bed bug from from before #382. Quote I'm fixing the stupid villagers. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1588460-
FallingFist Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 I'm using one of the latest versions. I previously was on 407, but when this error occurred, I tried upgrading it. Now I'm using the 426th build. I've heard of the bed bug, but as you said, it was removed in 300 something. Quote
FallingFist Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 I went to the nether, got kicked out. Same reason. My overworld also got completely deleted. Unsure what's happening... Quote
LexManos Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 This is the EternalFrosts's fuckup, not ours, go bitch at them: if (block == null || !block.isBed(par0World, c.a, c.b, c.c, null)) { return block.getBedSpawnPosition(par0World, c.a, c.b, c.c, null); } Pretty fucking obvious error in logic... Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
FallingFist Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 I'm sorry Lex, I never meant to be bitchy. I beg for forgiveness, and I have by the time writing this removed EternalFrost. But yeah, I don't know Java. Just Lua. Quote
