I know it's possible to choose random textures/models with the Vanilla JSON format. Is it possible to do the same with Forge's JSON format? I tried to do it but it does not seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or does it not work?

Vanilla:

{
  "variants": {
    "type=frozen": [{"model": "nex:frozen1"}, {"model": "nex:frozen2"}, {"model": "nex:frozen3"}]
  }
}

Forge:

{
  "forge_marker": 1,
  "defaults": {
    "transform": "forge:default-block"
  },
  "variants": {
    "type": {
      "frozen": [{"model": "nex:frozen1"}, {"model": "nex:frozen2"}, {"model": "nex:frozen3"}]
    }
  }
}

The forge marker makes it use the Forge model loader, which does variants much more nicely than vanilla.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
