Hi, working on my mod. Realized that blocks are not dropping and my ore isn't dropping the item intended either.  Src is available https://github.com/boredherobrine13/morefuelsmod-bleeding and all of my block classes are in this package: https://github.com/boredherobrine13/morefuelsmod-bleeding/tree/master/src/main/java/com/bored/morefuelsmod/block. Here is my Main.class: https://github.com/boredherobrine13/morefuelsmod-bleeding/blob/master/src/main/java/com/bored/morefuelsmod/Main.java. I have the slight sensation that something is missing from my BlockBase/OreBase classes or something isn't registered properly, but can't seem to pin it down. Any help is appreciated!

From my understanding, this is the code needed to make my ore drop the ore rather than itself. I tried adding this to my BlockOre class but it did nothing.

public Item getItemDropped(int par1, Random random, int par2){
	return ModItems.bituminousCoal;
	}

Always use @Override if you want to override functions. it will show an error if the method doesnt exist in the same way in the super class

Also remember that any IDE worth using will have a way of automatically adding an overridden method.  For example, Ctrl-O in Intellij presents a list of overrideable methods, and will insert the correct method definition for you (along with an @Override annotation of course).  I presume Eclipse has something similar.  It's always worth using this when you're extending a base class.

IntelliJ also will show a box of matching overrideable super methods if you start typing a method name inside a class, and set the whole thing up when you select it and hit enter.  That's my personal favorite :P
