Posted October 17, 20168 yr I mean while game is running. My mod has various techs which start as disabled and get discovered so the user may now build things that previously was not possible. How do I remove vanilla recipes? How do I remove/add new recipes while game is running? October 17, 20168 yr Author Thanks for your suggestions I will try the custom IRecipe object . I wonder how ModTweaker does it. October 18, 20168 yr Thanks for your suggestions I will try the custom IRecipe object . I wonder how ModTweaker does it. Mod tweaker reads from a script at runtime and doesn't change dynamically. VANILLA MINECRAFT CLASSES ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WHEN MODDING I will be posting 1.15.2 modding tutorials on this channel. If you want to be notified of it do the normal YouTube stuff like subscribing, ect. Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.
October 18, 20168 yr How do I remove vanilla recipes? CraftingManager::getRecipeList can be modified. Note that of course you need a code-based way to figure out which recipe(s) should be removed. I usually do that by searching for the recipe output matches (i.e. remove all recipes that can make a certain something). The code could look something like this: It is a bit trickier with Crafting if you want to make sure all recipes for an item are removed, you'll need to iterate through them all like this. (Note this is from 1.7.x and is an example of removing a furnace so you should replace that with what works for you but you should get the idea): Iterator<IRecipe> iterator = CraftingManager.getInstance().getRecipeList().iterator(); while (iterator.hasNext()) { IRecipe recipe = iterator.next(); if (recipe == null) continue; ItemStack output = recipe.getRecipeOutput(); if (output != null && output.itemID == Block.furnaceIdle.blockID) iterator.remove(); } Check out my tutorials here: http://jabelarminecraft.blogspot.com/
