February 17, 20178 yr You are still ignoring the first part. Your file name/resource names needs to be lowercase. February 17, 20178 yr Oh yes you do need to set the unlocalized name, as it is for the ITEM and the block. Please set it. Also make NightGem lowercase. Also, make sure you named your json files correctly Edited February 17, 20178 yr by Leomelonseeds Apparently I'm addicted to these forums and can't help but read all the posts. February 17, 20178 yr Why is EVERYTHING still uppercase? Please make it all lowercase (use ctrl + f) to make it more convinient for you. Apparently I'm addicted to these forums and can't help but read all the posts. So if I somehow help you, please click the "Like This" button, it helps.
February 17, 20178 yr Also don't use GameRegistry.register(Item, ResourceLocation). Use item.setRegistryName() and GameRegistry.register(Item). Also set your unlocalized names to include your mod ID, like this: item.setUnlocalizedName(item.getRegistryName()).
