July 30, 20187 yr adfoc.us is a website where you can download or get linked to another website. Some people use adfoc.us inappropriately, posting scams or even viruses in the download. Forge use adfoc.us properly for letting other people download stuff. Yes, you can use it too, and it is "ok" safe if you don't download random things from random people using ad.focus, but I suggest you to use dropbox instead.

August 25, 20187 yr Adfocus overall is fine. Their team is responsive when it comes to issues. However, honestly your best bet if you're creating a MC mod, use CurseForge and opt-in to the monitization. It's not the most lucrative system, but its the safest/most flexible for our community. Overall, Give users the option, direct or ad links. And MOST DEFINITELY do not chain these links. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
