BLACK SCREEN AFTER MOJANG LOGO - MC 1.5 Forge 7.7.0

First off thank you for deleting my post without ANY notification whatsoever. 

{apologies for the sarcasm but I have been waiting hours for a response only to find my post is no longer there - even though it shows me as the last person replying to the post }

 

I actually am having an issue with your mod. 

 

Started off with force update / clean install of Minecraft 1.5. 

(Did not remove any Coremods files or Mod files. )

Downloaded Forge 7.7.0 => unzipped & added to minecraft.jar (1.5 version)

Deleted ONLY Mojang files from the META - INF. 

Launch Minecraft => Mojang logo => Black screen

Saw that people were getting the message "no log no help" when posting about issues. 

When I found the log files (there were 2)  opened with Notepad => 1 was completely blank & the other was showing 3-9-2013 as the last date in the file.  Obviously that would not have helped even if your admins had bothered to tell me how to post the log files as I requested in my post. 

 

Saw that my post had been deleted.

Removed Forge 7.7.0 from minecraft.jar

continued playing without Forge

Moved Coremods file :  GuiAPI-0.15.2-1.4.6  to a desktop folder

Moved Mods files:

-- [1.4.7]ReiMinimap_v3.2_06

-- CustomMobSpawner 1.11

-- DrZharks MoCreatures Mod v4.5.1    all to another desktop folder

 

Added Forge 7.7.0 back to minecraft.jar

Tried to launch Minecraft =>  Loaded fine. 

Tried to add back in Mods one at a time.  Getting black screen for each of these 3 mods listed above.

Please help.  I cannot play my singleplayer mode or multiplayer servers  without Mo Creatures which requires Forge. 

If you need me to post logs, please include the information about how to post those, since there is NO information on your forums about how to do so. 

 

Please also do not delete my posts without any kind of notification as to why, that is just rude and unprecedented, that is to say I have never had a post deleted without being sent a message on the particular forum saying the post was deleted for "reason:  "  or at least being notified that it had been moved to a more appropriate thread/ topic / category, etc.

Cant you guys figure this out? 1.4.7 mods are NOT always the problem. I am having the same problem, being ignored on my thread, and I am using ONLY 1.5 mods. I still get the black screen.

 

The problem is forge. Maybe if you had looked at my log, that I posted in my thread, you could see something wrong. I havn't played Minecraft since the damn update.

Same issue here dude I get the Black Screen of Death and using 1.5 mods anything in the mods folder does not work from IC2 to BuildCraft I can get Optifine to work that is it but anything in the mods folder even ReiMiniMap does not work... I am thinking it has to be forge or something....

No log no help there is ALWAYS a log read up on how to obtain it if there isn't on i your folder.

And laucus is right you obviously state :

"Removed Forge 7.7.0 from minecraft.jar" 7.7 is for 1.5

And then you state:

"[1.4.7]ReiMinimap_v3.2_06" Unless I am completely blind that obviously states 1.4.7

1.4.7 mods DO NOT work with 1.5.

 

Anyways again, no logs, no help.

 

As your you Dark_Rose, Do not attempt to hijack other's threads, as this person has not posted a log you have no way of knowing if your error is the same as theirs.

Forge works fine, it's happily running for thousands of other people. If simply you guys having messed up the install instructions.

I have had the same problem when trying to run Minecraft Forge. I run it, get the MOJANG screen and then a totally black screen. I AM NOT USING ANY 1.4.7 OR LOWER MODS AS SOME PEOPLE HAVE TRIED TO CLAIM IS THE ISSUE. They are all 1.5 mods that I am running and I still get the black screen.

Hi guys! I had the same problem.

This is what I did:

1. I got a fresh copy of Minecraft 1.5

2. Downloaded the newest forge form http://files.minecraftforge.net (7.7.0.589)

3. Opened minecraft.jar and deleted META-INF

4. Copied Forge files to minecraft.jar (DO NOT DELETE THE META-INF FOLDER)

That worked for me.

If you're using MC Patcher, make sure you have the latest one, and use it after you install Forge.

 

And people, listen to diesieben07! Next time post the log. It's the "ForgeModLoader-client-0" document located in your .minecraft folder.

I am having some trouble with blackscreens too.

When I start Minecraft with Forge but any other mods minecraft gets blackscreen after the Mojang screen

OK, first - try the new forge. You're running the 7.7.0.582 build, get the newest one (7.7.0.589). It seems to be working for many people.

Second, as LexManos said: "1.4.7 mods DO NOT work with 1.5."

So make sure that all your mods are up to date.

I don't know how you install your mods, but using Magic Launcher helped me.

It lets you add 1 mod at a time. It might help you to work out, which mods are causing a BS.
