However many people on the forums that help around, myself included, do not support mod re-posts and inform other users to only download from safe websites such as Curse Forge. VANILLA MINECRAFT CLASSES ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WHEN MODDING I will be posting 1.15.2 modding tutorials on this channel. If you want to be notified of it do the normal YouTube stuff like subscribing, ect. Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.
November 14, 20186 yr With Forge 1.13 going to force signed coremods, would it be possible for forge to force signing of all mods, store the signatures in some registry (modId->signature) and alert the user if a mod their using isn’t signed? Only download mods from trusted sites like CurseForge (minecraft.curseforge.com). November 14, 20186 yr Possible, but never going to happen. Without reiterating things i've stated thousands of times, its not feasible and it would piss off EVERYONE. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon

November 20, 20186 yr Hi, sorry for the late response! The StopModReposts team is currently working on a mod that authors can integrate into their mods and modpacks (more about the mod here: https://stopmodreposts.org/dl/splashscreenmod.html). The "mod" basically shows you a popup on the first game start, which tells you about the campaign and where to download mods. I personally agree that the Forge Developers are NOT responsible/liable to show users where to download, but some fake websites like files.minecraftforge.com should be taken down via domain abuse if further illegal activities take place on the site (currently, weird redirects which aren't illegal). We would be happy to further discuss this topic on the official StopModReposts Discord Server which can be found here: https://stopmodreposts.org/. Sorry for my English sometimes. I'm German! ? Kind Regards, Paul (MECTAG/berrysauce) @ StopModReposts
