Hello

 

I have been fighting with Minecraft Forge for MC 1.2.5 for 3 days now. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or am I missing something (add-ons, other mods, etc.).

These mods are using modloader MP which isn't compatible with minecraft forge ask the mod authors to update to forge.

 

 

 

Modloader MP

 

WandCraft

BattleTowers

Put_contents_in_minecraft.jarto_play.rar (whatever mod this is wants to be in jar but is also using modloader mp)

rope+

Ruins

TF2 Sentry

TF2 Teleporter

 

These mods are crashing for other reason, afew of them want to be in the jar which would probably make them incompatible with forge even if you installed them properly. As if they want to be in the jar they will probably replace base classes.

 

I'm not sure whats causing some of the crashes, but it looks like you have made a mess of installing alot of these mods and not checked the requirements of the mods or even the install instructions.

Hello, again

 

I was wrong...It is still not working. But now I can't figure it out at all. I deleted all the mods that were interfering with forge and it seemed to work. But now when Minecraft starts, the Mojang screen comes up, stays a while and then the screen turns black. I waited for about 5 minutes before shutting it down.

The only thing I got was this:

 

 

  Reveal hidden contents

 

 

Could someone tell me why?

I was also wondering...Does minecraft forge work with GUI API? And if it does, How would I install it so that MC Forge will work?

How the hell could we do that if you give us no information?

Read the damn stickies and post a stack trace, or you will get no help.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Here is everything in the order you want:

There was no stack trace since the screen just went black after the Mojang screen.

 

These are the .jar files that I have loaded, in the order and the versions:

 

minecraftforge-client 3.3.8.160

GuiAPI-0.14.2-1.2.5

 

I did not know what to do for 3 days until I posted here for the first time. I then deleted every mod that jampot5000 told me was interfering with MC forge. At first it seemed that it would work until after the Mojang screen everything went black. I then waited for 5 minutes without any change before I shut down Minecraft. Nothing came up so I used one of the alternate methods mentioned in the sticky post.

 

This is what came up:

The strange thing is that the file it can't find or load is in the bin folder

And just in case, here are the mods and their versionsthat I have installed:

This is all that I have and I have done so in the order that is listed in the sticky post. I tried again with a clean .minecraft file and it keeps doing the same thing after I install forge only.

Ok, done as you said...

 

This is what I got and it only happens when I install Forge:

 

C:\Users\Diana\Desktop\Minecraft 2\MinecraftSP\MinecraftSP>java -Xms1G -Xmx1G -c

p Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame

Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.LauncherFrame

 

And that is using the method that Cloudy gave me
