Posted June 19, 20196 yr I've tried many different versions of forge 1.14.2 and all of them install 1.12.2 on my pc. how do i fix?
June 20, 20196 yr Congrats, you downloaded and installed Forge from a malicious website. ONLY ever download Forge from our site: https://files.minecraftforge.net/ Run a virus scanner, delete whatever installer you used. And download a real one. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon

June 20, 20196 yr Author Dude of course im downloading it from here. I tried 5 different versions for 1.14.2 and they never give me 1.14.2 .

I just now downloaded and installed forge for 1.14.2, and it shows up in my versions list when I create a new profile in the launcher, so the forge installer is certainly working, so this is a problem that is unique to your situation, and is not affecting everyone. Are you using the official launcher? Are you using the beta launcher? You provided such little information, hence people asking for more.
