May 2, 20205 yr Replace the package titled 'minecraft' (right below data) with your modid. Your recipes should be under your modid namespace, not the minecraft namespace.

May 2, 20205 yr Author ok replaced minecraft with my modid. still didn't work. both "yabm5:block_direction" and "yabm5:block_measure_16" exist as normal blocks
May 3, 20205 yr Have you made any other recipes (in this same mod workspace) that work? Just wondering if your package name/folders are good, I've been seeing a lot of broken package names lately, i.e. package data.modid.recipes which should be resources/data/modid/recipes, I've seen it end up being resources/data.modid.recipes instead. Your json looks right as far as I can tell, and if the items were missing/not registered, pretty sure it would throw errors in the log.
May 4, 20205 yr Author I have no recipes that work. my packages are : I am having a problem with recipes; i have the 'data' set up like : src/main/ressources -----assets ... ----data ----------minecraft ---------------recipes --------------------test_direction_from_block.json i question where the data package location, should it be equal with assets , or part of the assets package
May 4, 20205 yr data and assets are siblings. Also don't put your mod's recipes in the minecraft folder, use your own mod ID Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. Your json file should work if it's in the right place.
May 4, 20205 yr Author src/main/resources ----- assets -----data.yabm5,recipes ---------- test_test.json data is not part of assets
