I'm trying to install mods for a SMP server, but I get this error concerning Forge after I install Inficraft:

The modloader.txt is attached

The only .jar mods I installed were (in order): Modloader, minecraftforge-client-3.3.8.152

I've looked around the Inficraft forums and this forum for a similar problem, but found nobody with the same issue. I tried reinstalling everything from scratch, but still the same error

This is the error message I get from the Minecraft client after the crash:

Is this Forge's fault?

You don't install ModLoader with Forge anymore. Forge has ModLoader functionality bundled with it since Version 3.3.7, and is backwards compatible with any ModLoader-specific mods.

Check out my

Texture Packs Thread here on the Forge Forum. :)

Currently in the process of adding some mod support for JohnSmith Texture Pack.

Well that makes it easier to manage these mods, but I tried removing modloader, but the problem persists :(

Looks like you have a folder in your mods folder called 'Clean Jar (Complete Base Edit Package)'

Get rid of it.

Either that or you stuck it in your jar, which is stupid..

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Ah, I just downloaded the mod in questions. It seems you may have just stuck the whole zip into the mods folder. Take it out, open up the InfiCraft.zip and read the installation instructions closer to the bottom of the Readme.txt file.

Thanks, that worked for my inficraft problem, but now it seems forestry is being picky. Minecraft stays at the Mojang screen if the latest version of forestry is installed for the right buildcraft version.

I had to use MultiMC so I can access the error file, is this what you mean:

On the forestry wiki where you DL that zip, it explains succinctly how to deal with that error.
