I have a transparent block but for some reason, any block it touches is turned invisible. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

public boolean isFullCube()
    {
        return false;
    }

    /**
     * Used to determine ambient occlusion and culling when rebuilding chunks for render
     */
    public boolean isOpaqueCube()
    {
        return false;
    }

Use that on your Block class

this is necessary when the block arent a full block, because, the chunk renderer is programmed to cull faces than are faced to inside of chunk (detail, chunk is a model) instead of a full cube for all blocks, that explain why blocks than it touch just are culled, because it cull neighbor faces, so you need to tell to the renderer do not do that for ur block

As far as i know these are no longer a thing in 1.15.2...you now have to setup the correct VoxelShape of your block in case it is a non full cube...otherwise by default the game will treat it as if it was a full cube

Check out the port of the BetterEnd fabric mod (WIP): https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/betterend-forge-port

Beethoven92 is correct here. And you'd know that if you put @Override on your methods. Your IDE would then warn you, "this isn't overriding anything" and you would then know you'd have to find out what changed so you can fix it to have the desired behavior. As those methods no longer exist...

Lol I fixed it myself like immediately after I posted this topic. Sorry if that caused any problems but thanks anyways.
