Who are you to tell me stop making mods?

D7 said stop making jar mods, that is, mods that modify the vanilla files directly and are installed by opening up the minecraft.jar in a zip editor.

You're free to make Forge mods (this is the Forge forums).

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

he meant to not make a mod for something which can be accomplished in a far easier way

if what you want is to change the water animation, you can do so with resource packs. if you want reflections or what not, you can make a shaderpack, it does not need to be a forge mod

man, ther es a problem on shader packs. they just pick the image of your monitor and reverse it into the water.

if you look close to the water, nothing will be reflected like in the pictures that i have uploaded

See on this picture: https://prnt.sc/113is8e

Where's the tree reflex? and wheres the reflex on the corners???

I think this reflex from shader is much bad bro

Those are problems with the specific shader, not shaders in general.

If you want to add reflections and waves, then using a shader is by far the best way to go.

What specific changes are you trying to implement? It would be much easier to help if we know what you are trying to do specifically.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
