You don't download the launcher, you download the installer. The launcher artifact is poorly named for something available alongside the installer, it's meant to be used by another piece of software, not used manually.

You have a very old coremod in your mods folder, this isn't going to work. All mods are made for specific versions of Minecraft, you need to make sure you're getting the correct versions and most sites that advertise mods are willing to mislabel their downloads to get more clicks and downloads. The filenames of one or more of your mods suggests you got them from a repost site. Please read up on the StopModReposts project (link in my signature) for info on why this is a bad thing.
