I am installing forge 1.18.2, it had a error and it got stuck at Building Proccessors. The error was: Failed to run processor: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target See log for more details.

Did a quick search of the forums for "PKIX path", and from what I gather in the results, there is an issue with your java installation. Uninstall it completely, then reinstall. If it still doesn't work, post the installer log please :)

This error is often indicative of an outdated Java version. Please ensure your Java version is up to date. You can download OpenJDK from the Adoptium project.

If the error persists after updating your Java version, please post the updated installer log as well as the contents of %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (Windows) or  /etc/hosts (Mac, Linux)

I will try download from he adoptium project. Are you sure the adoptium project is safe?

If I had to choose, I would choose adoptium 100%. *edit: Well, I guess I DID, since I downloaded my java from adoptium :)

java-for-minecraft sounds like a google result that will hack your computer lol.

adoptium is the java done by openjdk/eclipse

openjdk are the people that actually write the base version java.

Others like Microsoft, Oracle, IBM or Apple take the OpenJDK version and modify it for their operating systems.

That site claims to contain an Oracle version from about 7 years ago.

Even if its not infected with viruses, they are not supposed to redistribute that file without a license from Oracle to do so.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
