Alright, So I installed Minecraft forge (1.7.10- 10.13.0.1194) And it installs fine, I download a mod, (Twilight Forest) put it in the mods folder, and I used a profile using the Forge version. But when I click Play it says Launching then shuts off. I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong or what, Although I have successfully installed this mod and a few others when Minecraft was 1.5.2 and using the old Launcher. And I have Optifine and TooManyItems installed and both are working at the moment, although I've been trying to get Forge working since before I installed either of those mods. Thanks for any help!!

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

Is this the FML log?

Seems like your minecraft.jar is corrupt, since it fails to transform a class.

redownload Minecraft in your launcher and re-install forge and see if that helps.

cpw/mods/fml/common/network/Player was removed with the introduction of netty.

it looks like you have an old coremod, try running without any mods except forge.

I already have, and it still crashes.

Then post logs of it crashing with "NO" mods.

I think that's it without any mods in the mods folder.

That is interesting, there should be no reference to that class anywhere in 1.7.10 code,

Try running and posting the log with the following jvm arguments:

-Dlegacy.debugClassLoading=true -Dlegacy.debugClassLoadingFiner=true

Also, try killing both the Forge and 1.7.10 folders in your 'versions' folder. And reinstalling both.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Two quick question before I do this:

Do I just delete the 1.7.10 and forge folders in the versions folder? And if I do will 1.7.10 auto re install?

And

How do I add jvm argument? Do I just check off the jvm argument button on my profile and add that code to what's there?

You have to run a version for it to install again.

As for the rest... try it...

Zip up your entire .minecraft folder and e-mail to to me LexManos@gmail.com

The MarkerTransformer should not be doing anything, but it is, so something is telling it to mark something it shouldn't.

Wow, your .minecraft folder is extremely messed up.

I would advise deleting everything in that folder {except for save files} and starting from scratch.

NEVER extract your minecraft jar file.

It looks like the fact that for some reason you extracted an old mincraft.jar file into your root .minecraft folder it is detecting that as the current version of the 'fml_marker.cfg' and getting confused.

You should seriously clean that all up you have thousands of files there that are unneeded.
