Posted July 10, 20178 yr I've been following Mr Crayfish's Tutorials (Episode 4) I cannot find the problem, I've seen other people have it but I don't know how they fixed it, I checked everything 1000 times for any sort of spelling or caps mistakes but I can't seem to find anything [13:36:18] [Client thread/ERROR] [TEXTURE ERRORS]: +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= [13:36:18] [Client thread/ERROR] [TEXTURE ERRORS]: The following texture errors were found. July 10, 20178 yr Good evening, I assume any moment the guys with the real knowledge will show up, but until then I want to ask you why there is a closing bracket Quote [13:36:18] [Client thread/ERROR] [TEXTURE ERRORS]: textures/blocks/clear_glass).png See it? Right in front of the png. I do not know if this is an copypaste-error, but you might have a look aaaat... *thinking* the models json or the blockstates json. Well, I'm not very long in this business as one might suspect, but you should figure out whats up with the bracket anway. Now good error hunting. Edited July 10, 20178 yr by ConfusedMerlin had "bracelet" instead of "bracket" (I guess thats from to much dwarf fortess playing)
July 10, 20178 yr Author That fixes the error in the console, but I'm still left with the block item having no texture... https://pastebin.com/iZcr4DEg
July 10, 20178 yr Don't use the Model Mesher, use ModelLoader.setCustomModelResourceLocation instead. And during preInit Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
July 10, 20178 yr Author Wanna show me an example? Also do I just get rid of the entire 'Minecraft.getMinecraft().getRenderItem().getItemModelMesher().register(Item.getItemFromBlock(block), 0, new ModelResourceLocation(block.getRegistryName(), "inventory"));' Edited July 10, 20178 yr by Ethansup2082
July 10, 20178 yr Author I have no clue if this is right or not Edited July 10, 20178 yr by Ethansup2082
July 10, 20178 yr Draco said use ModelLoader.setCustomModelResourceLocation(), Which takes in an Item, int, and a ModelResourceLocation as parameters. Which are the Item you want the ModelResourceLocation bound to the metadata of the Item and the ModelResourceLocation to be bound. VANILLA MINECRAFT CLASSES ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WHEN MODDING I will be posting 1.15.2 modding tutorials on this channel. If you want to be notified of it do the normal YouTube stuff like subscribing, ect. Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.

The only thing you need to change is importing all of the required classes and changing 'block' to an actual Block. July 10, 20178 yr Where is your blockclear_glass? Is it in the same class? Or in a different one, if so you need to reference the class that it is in. And did you import ModelResourceLocation?
