Various mods with boards that are not so busy. Ones that get busy may get promoted to their own multi-board section, or dead ones will be removed.

Go to your game folder, rename the "world" directory to "world.bak"... This will make sure your world doesn't get overwritten, and will also cause the game to generate a new world the next time you start up. Do this test, and see if it loads up. Once it loads correctly, then we can troubleshoot what is in the current save that is messed up. Most likely what will have to be done if you really want to save this game, is you'll have to restore from a previous backup. --(Revelations has FTB utilities inside which should be keeping local backups which you can restore from) Or, in an extreme circumstance, you can use an NBTEditor to remove the offending item from the player inventory. DankNull is notorious for causing catastrophic issues, and that's why most MP servers ban the mod / items.
-Are you trying to do a client, or a server ? -Which version of Java are you running ? Go to your command line on windows and type c:\java -version If you don't get anything back, it means either a.) you don't have java, or b.) your java path isn't set in windows profile. How to set Java Path in Windows If you get a return from "java -version" something like this... \\\/// C:\Users\magilla.gorilla>java -version java version "1.8.0_271" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_271-b09) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.271-b09, mixed mode) It means you're in business. You have Java, and windows knows where it is. Yay ! Now use the Easy Process to install forge.... There are many ways to do this, but I prefer the visual way, cuz then you learn something. Make a new folder, call it whatever. Let's make it easy. Make a new folder on your desktop called "forge2021". Download the Forge Installer for whatever Version you want, and put it in that folder. Now you have a folder called forge2021 and inside there is a file called something like "forge-1.16.5-36.0.9-installer.jar", or whatever. The version isn't important, just that it's called forge-<someversion>-installer.jar". One way to install - If your machine doesn't have any restrictions on launching jars from the desktop, you can double-click, or right click the file, and choose open. It will run a java app that will ask you whether you wanna install the client or the server, and where to. The it does it's thing and you have forge. ----If you choose "client" the default path is going to install to c:\users\yourusername\appdata\roaming\.minecraft\ HINT: There's a command shortcut to get you here, hit WindowsKey+E, to open an explorer window. In the Explorer Window type %appdata%, and hit enter. It will take you to the appdata roaming folder of the current logged in user. You should see your .minecraft folder at or near the top. If you choose server, just tell it to install to the folder you made, it will run some scripts to go and fetch the vanilla server, and it will download the Forge libraries for your version, and do it's thing. You now have forge server installed in that folder. Do this only if you're installing the Forge Server locally on your machine As for installing server, the other way to install, and the way I prefer, is to go to the command line. go to your start button, and type cmd, when it pops up with your options, either right click on it and choose "run as administrator" or , in the right pane of the start button you'll have the option "run as administrator". (this prevents you from having weird permissions issues later, on the files forge loads from it's install script.) Now, from command line you opened "cd" or "change directory" to the folder you made in the above steps. If you did what I suggested it will be located at c:\users\username\desktop\forge2021\ Because when you launch cmd, you'll be at a prompt for c:\users\username, not where we wanna be. Two ways to do this. just type- cd c:\users\username\desktop\forge2021\ or type cd, hit space, and then drag the folder you made "forge2021" into the cmd window. This will copy the folder's path onto the command line for you. Then hit enter. You should now be at the prompt that looks like c:\users\username\desktop\forge2021. type the command dir, and hit enter. You should see your forge installer you downloaded. type "java -jar forge- and hit <tab> key.. This will autocomplete the filename so you don't have to type it. then after the forge filename type --installServer, so the whole command should look similar to c:\users\username\desktop\forge2021\forge-1.16.5-36.0.9-installer.jar --installServer Once you hit enter it will install the server, and you should be good to go. You can start copying compatible mods into your mods folder, etc.
I just started on trying to teach myself how to download/install mods and such for Minecraft, and I'm already failing miserably. Upon trying to open Minecraft Forge in Minecraft vJava, it will load most of the way until it gets stuck on Atlas stitching for shulker boxes, and it will loop the percentage/amount of data downloaded. The only mod I have downloaded is BSL shaders (downloaded from https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/customization/bsl-shaders/download), but this problem was happening before I had the mod. These three lines stick out to me as incorrect, but I either don't know what they mean or don't know how to fix them. Reflection is a java concept, as such there's no documentation here. ObfuscationReflectionHelper is a forge added class as a wrapper to deal with changing method names due to mappings. However, this has full javadocs. Sure, a registered object can be grabbed from the associated registry. Although you might want to add that mod as a dependency (either hard or soft) to better handle that case.
