Merged your threads. Forge for 1.12.2 or earlier only works with Java 8, Minecraft is trying to start with Java 9 or later, I don't know much about the Linux Launcher, but by default the Windows launcher uses Java 8 (and an ancient version of it to boot). Did you manually tell your launcher to use Java 11 or is that something the Linux Launcher does differently?

Then please post your debug.log for a modern version of the game that you have this issue with.

Have you tried using the version of Forge that Pixelmon is designed to work with? They do a TON of coremod stuff and that tends to break things when different versions are used.

Pixelmon is a massive coremod and thus heavily relies on you using the version of Forge it was designed to run with, which is mentioned on their website.

Go into your JDK folder, open CMD or Powershell there, and type "java -version", what shows up?

Make sure you're using the 64-Bit version of the JDK, the (x86) in your JDK install path hints that you have the 32-Bit version.

It's been reported to their GitHub three separate times. I've also noticed a few bad practices in the code of that mod.

Please don't necropost, and no saying "sorry for" does not excuse you. Please don't set the Xmx in your ide or on your system every (modern) Forge MDK ships with a gradle.properties that sets this for you. If you are using an MDK that is old enough to not have this then know that you will not receive support on this forum.

This is indicative of trying to launch Forge with Java 9 or later, you need to use Java 8 specifically.

That's not the latest version available and every 1.10.2 version was either alpha or beta, no releases. If you update to 1.12.2 Industrial Foregoing is essentially MFR.
