What is that icon on your desktop that says forge-1.7.10 in the top left? Why do the other files that say Forge not have an icon? Where are you getting your mods? Please activate Windows.

In the way you are attempting to copy, it gives you an edge over other people without being ok-ed by the server. Yes, this is frowned upon. No you will not receive assistance in this matter.

Please read up on the StopModReposts project and install their Browser Extension, delete any and all files you got from that site and others, run a virus scan on your computer, and then get mods from their proper source(s). These days the proper source for almost every mod is CurseForge.

From the name it sounds like something you'd find on a hacked client... if that is the case I'm done here.

What mod? Many mods are Open Source on GitHub.

What mods do you have installed and how did you install them?

Are we talking about a mod or Minecraft itself? Are you trying to duplicate the method or call it? Are you making a Forge mod or a Jar mod?

How long have you left it before killing it?

Guessing the situation here, is this accurate? You're running the bat file and nothing happens or the window closes as fast as it opens, so you're then running the server by clicking the jar file directly? If this is the case add pause to a new line at the end of your bat file to keep the window open after the server stops/crashes.

Where are you getting your mods?

If you haven't already, please take a look at the StopModReposts project, install their browser extension, and run an antivirus scan.

Merged your threads. Forge for 1.12.2 or earlier only works with Java 8, Minecraft is trying to start with Java 9 or later, I don't know much about the Linux Launcher, but by default the Windows launcher uses Java 8 (and an ancient version of it to boot). Did you manually tell your launcher to use Java 11 or is that something the Linux Launcher does differently?

Then please post your debug.log for a modern version of the game that you have this issue with.
