So just a heads up, you should not repost .jar files for mods that you did not write. Simply giving us the names of them would have been sufficient.

In order to update those mods, you would have to first see if the mod author(s) will/have updated them. If not, and/or they have no intention of doing so, you would then need to ask permission to update their code to 1.12.2. Depending on how they have their original sources setup, this may or may not be required, but is a good practice regardless.

And of course, you will need to know Java fairly well, and be at least somewhat comfortable coding forge mods in order to update these mods, considering how much has changed from 1.7.10 - 1.12.2.

If you were looking for a simple answer, (i.e. you are not a programmer) the simple answer is: you can't.

I did get permission from one of the people who made them to update them if I wanted and I’m kinda framilar with Java I have used it it the past so I prefer the hard answer

I am currently "updating" from 1.7.10 to 1.14 and let me give you the hard answer: You do not update, you rewrite the mod from scratch. Too many things changed.

Just start a new mod and implement everything step by step.

Unless the mod is very large and has complicated structure, rewriting is probably better than porting from 1.7.10.

IIRC Superhero Unlimited only adds a few armors and tools, so I would really suggest just start the mod over instead of porting it to 1.14.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

I use Eclipse and I like it. Some others on here use InteliJ IDEA. It's ultimately up to you which IDE you use.

Most Java IDEs that support gradle should work.

1.7/1.12 is no longer supported on this forum.
Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
