Which cpu better sooths IDE for forge, single thread performance or multithreaded performance

Minecraft is single-threaded, IntelliJ is not (as far as I know).

IntelliJ (and, generally, your computer) will benefit from multiple cores, but Minecraft will mostly benefit from high single-core speeds.

There is no way to tell which is better without benchmarking your specific device.

More cores doesn’t necessarily means better handling of more threads. Check out how context switch works.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger.

Support & Bug Reports:

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

The UI and the Indexing Part of IntelliJ will definitely benefit from multiple Cores.

Minecraft is mostly single-threaded. In game, you will get a boost from single core performance.

In my experience IntelliJ is limiting the performance in the started application anyways...

But I don't think you would buy a CPU only for Minecraft.
