Don't actively advertise the site! Where are you attempting to download Forge from? Please give a URL. If it is an adfocus ad doing this, please provide the adfocus URL you are sent to (it contains the ad ID that can be shared with adfocus' support team to have the offending ad removed)

Please don't make threads with generic accusations of poor performance. Forge does a LOT more than Vanilla does even when other mods aren't installed.

Ah, sorry you're running a client not a server and I'm going through so many threads they're starting to blur together. For a client that file would be in .minecraft.
