That doesn't show a crash. When you say "crash" is it just freezing or is it booting you back to the launcher and saying it crashed?

Are you still trying to get help with 1.8?

You have file extensions hidden, that Debug-1.log is actually Debug-1.log.zip and the one you see as debug is actually debug.log This is an annoying feature of Windows where it hides file extensions by default

Don't run gradlew eclipse, just import the project folder as an existing Gradle project
