  3. Quick reminder that you need to run the Forge jar to start a Forge server, otherwise you're playing Vanilla with a modded client. If the Forge jar doesn't seem to open, run it from a command prompt and provide the output.
  4. I didn't realize that was a thing! I haven't really played in a long time. Edit: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/pull/6758
  5. It doesn't act like anything else that uses the interface, other projectiles follow an arc, Fireworks just go up. What's the use case here?

  11. Did you control + C the prompt? I forgot to mention that this command sucks up all the output to the prompt so it won't show anything and Control + C in the land of console means "STOP"
  12. You put the text on one of the sites and it will give you a link that you then share here
  13. I do now, had to look it up, I gave you the wrong syntax, the & on the 2 is supposed to go on the 1 after it, so 2>&1
  14. Right... the syntax of that command should be correct, except I forgot to mention the step of either opening the cmd prompt in that folder through explorer's shift right click context menu option, or by utilizing cmd's cd (change directory) command
  15. The installer should always generate a log... If not, run this command in cmd: java -jar [installer name including extension] 1> installer_log.log &2>1
  16. and how did you run the installer? Through double clicking or through a command prompt?
  17. The installer log would be in the same place as the forge installer and may have the same name as the installer but with a .log extension
