  1. 1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  2. You should be using Java 8 HotSpot, Java 8 because it's what mods should be targeting and HotSpot because it's what some of Forge's black magic is designed for.
  3. ...did you install Forge on your client?
  4. Wait... so Minecraft reports the correct number but their site doesn't, and you believe them when they claim it's a Forge issue?
  5. Please read the "Logs" section in my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner
  6. Can you provide more info? MC Version? Forge Version? Any Mods? Logs?
  7. 1.7 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

  10. vs Edit: Also that looks like Powershell, in which case we can use Invoke-Expression "./gradlew build --refresh-dependencies --rerun-tasks --console plain" | Tee-Object -FilePath gradle.log which will do the same thing but show you the output as well
  11. 1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  12. The log in this case would be what gradle wrote to your console. The alternative is (assuming you're using cmd on Windows): gradlew build --refresh-dependencies --rerun-tasks --console plain 1> gradle.log 2>&1 Note that this command won't show any output, so you'll need to wait until the prompt is displayed again to know it's finished, then provide gradle.log
  13. Mojang ships 8u51 with the launcher iirc, so yeah
  14. Please provide your debug.log as described in the Logs section of my signature below
  15. Forge for 1.13 and later doesn't have an installer specifically for Windows. The regular installer has always worked for Windows as long as you have Java installed and set up correctly.
  16. 1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  17. Did you read my response on the GH issue that referred you here?
  18. Assuming you're using cmd: gradlew build --refresh-dependencies --rerun-tasks --stacktrace --console plain 1> gradle.log 2>&1 this command will not display any output so you will need to wait until you see the prompt appear, then provide the gradle.log using one of the paste sites listed in the logs section of my signature below
  19. I suppose you could try deleting the entirey of .minecraft if you REALLY want to go nuclear... the reason I keep going on about this is it feels like a file permissions issue
  20. 1.7 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  21. 1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  22. Neither 1.12.2 nor MCP are supported here.
  23. It sounds like you've managed to tell your computer to open the installer with your launcher...
  24. Please post the whole mod as a GitHub repo, makes it much easier for us to help you if we can run it and test for ourselves
  25. As you have already been told, 1.12 is no longer supported. Stop trying to dodge that fact.
